Trout Fest

Lubbock Fly Fishers is offering their first Trout Fest on Saturday, December 15, from 9 am-1 pm at the Veterans Memorial Park located in Huneke Park, 82nd Street and Nashville Avenue. (This event was originally scheduled for December 8, but was rescheduled due to the threat of winter weather.) The entire family will be able to learn how to fly fish during the event, and no fishing licenses will be required for anyone participating in the event. There will be a limited number of fishing rods available for checkout for those who need a rod, so come early to register and to check one out. It is free to participate.
