The Texas Cotton Ginners Association is celebrating its 109th annual meeting and trade show, April 7th and 8th, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

There are more than 200 booths with everything from ginning equipment to members of the Texas Cotton Gin Museum, home of the oldest operating cotton gin. Tony Williams with the Texas Cotton Gin Association said there is something for everyone and a great opportunity to learn about the cotton industry and to understand its significance to West Texas.
The Plains Cotton Growers will be holding its 59th annual meeting on Friday, April 8th at the Civic Center. Registration for the meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m.
