Pet Portrait Workshop @ Maxey Community Center

Paint a unique and fun portrait of your pet. No experience necessary! This is a small class customized to each group. The instructor will sketch an outline of your pet in advance on a 16 x 20" canvas and will guide you through the painting steps using acrylics from color blocking, layering, fur techniques, and finishing details.

[Required] As soon as you register, email an eye-level picture of your pet and your full name to hello@sorayalvg.com.

Great photos make great paintings! We recommend clear photos in bright or natural lighting. Avoid shadows over their face. Make sure eyes and nose are sharp, not blurry. Don't photograph your pet standing over them. Instead, snap photos at their eye level. Try to show your pet's character! We will print one picture for you, but feel free to bring more pictures for your own reference.

Pre-registration required by noon on 12/12.
