New Hire Orientation (NHO)

Welcome to the City of Lubbock, recently hired City employees!

We are thrilled you have joined the City and cannot wait to share all that our City offers you.

You are required to be at New Hire Orientation at 8 A.M. for a light breakfast (donuts, kolaches, orange juice, and coffee). We will meet in Room 104/105 on the first floor of the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane. There will be signs as you enter the building to guide you along the way.

Payroll Clerks, please let us know ASAP if your employee cannot attend this orientation.

During New Hire Orientation, you can expect a gift bag, games, prizes, and lunch (boxed lunches with ham, turkey or a vegetarian sandwich, and sweet & unsweet tea).

Also, remember to wear appropriate attire to New Hire Orientation, and comfortable shoes for our afternoon Citibus Tour.
