No Birth or Death Records While City Converts to New System

The City of Lubbock's Vital Statistics Office will not be able to issue birth or death records December 28, 2018 through January 1, 2019, due to the office converting to a new registration system. The current system, Texas Electronic Registration (TER), will be shut down at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 28. The new system, Texas Electronic Vital Events Registration (TXEver), will be initiated on January 1, 2019.

City offices will be closed on January 1, 2019.
