City Kicks Off LBKAlert & Severe Weather Preparedness Campaign

Starting Friday, March 1, 2019, the City of Lubbock will launch its campaign urging citizens to sign up for LBKAlert and to make a plan regarding severe weather. In conjunction with the Lubbock Police Department and Lubbock Fire Rescue, the City wants all residents to be prepared for severe weather season by signing up to receive emergency notifications at LBKAlert.com, making an emergency plan and, if they have one, registering their storm shelters.
