Bragg Named Division Director of Public Works

The City of Lubbock is pleased to announce that David Bragg as the Division Director of Public Works. He has served as the interim director since August 2025. 

The Division Director of Public Works oversees the operations of Streets, Traffic, Solid Waste and Pipeline Maintenance.

“I am pleased to announce David Bragg as the Division Director of Public Works,” said Assistant City Manager Erik Rejino. “David has successfully served in the interim role for the past seven months, and I am confident in his ability to lead the department moving forward. With more than 19 years of experience and a proven track record, David will continue leading the Public Works team as they deliver essential services to the citizens of Lubbock.”

Bragg's role as Director is effective March 7, 2026.
