The City of Lubbock’s Substance Use Service Assistance Network (SUSAN) goal is to increase the linkage and retention in substance use, mental health, and medical services for Texas residents residing in Health Service Region 1. The SUSAN program works to accomplish this through financial assistance for treatment/detox, transportation (medical), medical services, personal hygiene, educational employment needs, sober housing, as well as assistance in harm reduction via syringe cleaning kits, Naloxone, condoms/lubricant, and wound/first aid kits.
All services are free and depend upon funding availability. Our goal is to help each participant in the SUSAN program live a healthier and more meaningful life.
Please contact us and we will do our best to help you live a healthier, more meaningful life.
The Substance Use Service Assistance Network is part of the Lubbock Public Health Department.
