Public Notice
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the following annexation request. The meeting is to be held at 1314 Avenue K in the City Council Chambers on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 meeting beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Owner initiated annexation from Thomas L. Cooke and Deidra DeAnn Williams Martin, for approximately 407.28 acres, adjacent to the eastern city limits of the City of Lubbock, north of East Bluefield Street and east of North Guava Avenue, into Lubbock’s corporate limits, along with the adjacent right-of-way.

Service Fee Notice
The City of Lubbock will be adding a 3% service fee to all credit card transactions to help alleviate the City’s expenses. The preliminary date the service fee will become effective is October 12th, 2023 according to JPMC/Paymentus.

- Providing adequate protection for community investments in water, sewerage, streets, schools, parks and other community facilities.
- Promoting a safe, effective traffic circulation system.
- Providing safety from fire and other dangers
