Lubbock City Council Approves New Police Chief Appointment
The Lubbock City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Floyd Mitchell as the new Chief of the Lubbock Police Department at its October 22 meeting. Chief Mitchell will begin his role as Lubbock's 23rd Police Chief on November 11, 2019.
