Oath of Office for Mayor and District 2 Councilmember to be Held Tuesday, June 25

There will also be recognitions for outgoing Councilmembers

The City of Lubbock will host the Oath of Office for the newly elected Lubbock Mayor, Mark McBrayer, and Councilmember of District 2, Gordon Harris, at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25. The ceremony will take place in the City Council Chambers at Citizens Tower, located at 1314 Avenue K. Parking will be available in the parking garage to the south of Citizens Tower.

The City of Lubbock will also recognize the outgoing Mayor and City Councilmembers. Councilmember Steve Massengale will be recognized at the beginning of the 3:00 p.m. Regular City Council Meeting and Mayor Pro Tem Shelia Patterson Harris and Mayor Tray Payne will be recognized at the beginning of the 5:00 p.m. Oath of Office Ceremony.
