City Provides Update on City Network, Online Systems

The City of Lubbock continues to follow protocols, and industry best practices to gradually bring its systems and network back online. These systems were taken offline by the City yesterday out of an abundance of caution.

All public safety-related functions are operational. Lubbock Fire Rescue and Lubbock Police Department established policies and procedures that allowed for a smooth transition once moved offline. 

Right now, City of Lubbock Utilities customers can only pay their bill in person at 1401 Avenue K. During this time Water Utilities will not be conducting disconnects or implementing late fees due to nonpayment.
