Roadwork on Portion of 19th Street to Begin Thursday

Beginning Thursday, October 9, the City of Lubbock Street Department will begin maintenance work on 19^th Street, between University Avenue and Avenue X. Westbound traffic will be affected for the duration of work. Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce delays and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place around the work zone. Maintenance work will take approximately 1 day depending on weather and construction.
