Keep Lubbock Beautiful 2025 Lubbock's Leading Landscape Winner

The Keep Lubbock Beautiful Program (KLB), with its partners at the City of Lubbock Water Utilities Department and Solid Waste Department, is proud to announce the winner for the 2025 title of Lubbock’s Leading Landscape.

This title recognizes businesses or non-profit organizations whose landscaping promotes water smart practices, seeking to be a good neighbor by protecting this precious resource. Nominees are selected by the KLB Board, and presented to the public for voting. Criteria included in choosing the nominated landscapes are more plants than grass, native and/or drought-tolerant species and well-maintained planting beds.

Three properties were selected and presented for online voting by the public this year: The Liggett Law Group at 3217 34^th Street, the La Quinta Inn at 6401 62^nd Street and StarCare at 904 Avenue O.

By a margin of 84% of the vote, The Liggett Law Group was selected as the 2025 recipient of Lubbock’s Leading Landscape. The KLB Board thanks all of our nominees for allowing us to feature their properties.

The Liggett Law Group will be recognized at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, onsite of the winning landscape. The public is invited to celebrate this good neighbor with us and to visit all of our nominated landscapes.
