Portion of Avenue U to Close for Manhole Repair

Beginning Monday, July 30, Barricades Unlimited will close Avenue U between 53rd and 54th Streets in order for HD Weaver to make repairs to a sewer manhole. Weather permitting, work will begin early Monday morning and last approximately two weeks.


The City encourages drivers to use caution while driving in work zones and to seek alternate routes.
