Animal Services Save-Rate for The Month of August

Lubbock Animal Services continues to work diligently to improve monthly performance metrics. The Save-Rate for the month of August was 93.2%, with 1,141 animals processed.

Additionally, in the month of August staff started to collect Field Data in order to continue improving services provided by our field officers. These services enhance productivity and benefit the overall well-being of the Lubbock community.

Some of the new field metrics for the month of August include:

• RTOs (Returned to Owners): 63
• Citizen Interactions: 647
• Owner Door Tags: 59
• Microchips on the field: 66
• Fences Secured: 19
• Live Intakes: 109
