City of Lubbock hosts Mayor's Marathon news conference, talks Finish Festival

The City of Lubbock, along with the Mayor’s Fitness Council, Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock Fire Rescue, and United Supermarkets held a news conference Tuesday morning outlining important information about public safety operations and preparations as well as some of the Finish Festival details for this year’s Mayor’s Marathon which will take place Sunday, October 31.

This year's Finish Festival will include many vendors and food trucks (see tentative lists below) for attendees and athletes to enjoy during and after the race.
