City Saddened by Caldwell Family's 'Hard' Decision, But Thankful for its Commitment to the Community

The City of Lubbock is saddened by the news that Broadway Festivals Inc. will no longer host the 4th on Broadway celebration. 

We know the Caldwell Family did not make this decision lightly, and that they made this hard choice with thorough thoughtfulness. 

The City of Lubbock has been a proud partner with Broadway Festivals, Inc. for its 34 year run. We are so appreciative of the Caldwell Family and its unwavering support for the citizens and Lubbock community. 

We thank you, Caldwell Family and Broadway Festivals, Inc., for providing a fun, family-friendly event for decades. You brought joy, and excitement, without fail, to over a million people over the past 34 years. Your heart for bringing a true quality of life event to your neighbors every year is unmatched. We appreciate you all, and wish you great things in your next chapter.
