Update on Meadowbrook Golf Course

The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department will oversee the transition of new management and facility upgrades at Meadowbrook Golf Club. Due to this transition of operations and total facility oversight, starting Thursday, December 26, 2024, Meadowbrook will be temporarily closed.

 

A new management company, Orion Golf, will assume full responsibilities on the City’s behalf for all daily operations and course maintenance on Wednesday, January 1, 2024.

 

Along with the change in management, other upgrades include a new fleet of golf cars, a new fleet of John Deere maintenance equipment to enhance course conditions, a new kitchen equipment package to support restaurant improvements, a new 10,000 square foot storage building, clubhouse updates, driving range upgrades, and more.

 

While the exact reopening date is not yet determined, it is expected to be in early February 2025. The season kick-off and open house are anticipated in early March 2025. More details to come.
