East 8th Street Road Closure to Begin Monday
Starting Monday, January 12, 2026, Utility Contractors of America will begin construction of a new sanitary sewer main on East 8th Street, from Oak Avenue to Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Detours will be marked to help drivers navigate around the construction zone. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes, if possible.
Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to be completed on February 9, 2026.
