Chris Mandrell named Citibus General Manager

The City of Lubbock congratulates Chris Mandrell on his new role as General Manager of Citibus. Previously, Chris was the Human Resources Director for the company.

“The City of Lubbock is pleased that Chris Mandrell has taken the reins of leadership at Citibus. Chris has a passion for the citizens of Lubbock and the transit system that serves our city. He will strive to maximize the reach of the transit system while operating in the most cost-effective manner possible,” said Deputy City Manager Bill Howerton.

Chris Mandrell has over 10 years of experience in the Transit industry in a variety of management and executive roles. “I am honored to have been selected for this position and excited to take on this new role. As a Lubbock native, I feel a sense of pride and responsibility to ensure that Citibus is serving the needs of the community. I am eager to see what the future holds as we move forward,” Mandrell said.

The City looks forward to working with Chris in his new role as the leader of the transit system for our community.
