The Silent Wings Museum Presents Holidays on the Home Front

Chart your course for holiday fun at the Silent Wings Museum’s Holidays on the Home Front Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 1pm-4pm! 

Holidays during World War II often found people making do with what they had, repurposing and reusing supplies. Come be inspired by our tree of homemade ornaments from repurposed maps. Use maps to create your own miniature winter forest. Build a snow globe while you enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. Wander through our Unfamiliar Territory exhibit, discovering that distance can be relative, and then color your own cloth map of Operation Market Garden.
